The purpose-built artist studios and gallery at The Caswell Bus Barns bring together art practice, exhibitions and events within the broader context of this vibrant arts and culture hub, fostering creative exchange and public engagement.

Practicing professional artists occupy the private and open studio areas while exhibitions and public events occur in the front of the space, inviting audiences in. Concurrent art shows, events, workshops and talks happen throughout, creating a lively and interconnected community building.

The Caswell Bus Barns’ adaptive reuse into an arts and culture hub is now home to a performance theatre, sound recording studios, a learning centre, printmaking and ceramics studios, an architecture office and a welcoming cafe. We are a synergistic group that complement and strengthen our wider community.

We acknowledge that our organization, along with the artistic community that we support, resides on Treaty 6 Territory and the Homeland of the Métis.

Founded in 2026 by Crystal Bueckert of bldg.studio.inc, a local design firm with keen interest in the arts.
